Modern earthy edge is the latest from Joanique SS 2015. There is certain nowness in her recent pieces where contemporary design in tribal influences is anew. Semi-precious stones set in metals are redefined in edgy noteworthy styles. The on the radar look showcases a distinct look that defines a left of center beauty. Joanique's point of view goes beyond the mainstream yet has that high commercial appeal. Cultural and historical references are seen in the current collection as it echoes wearable art. Bold yet unassuming, Joanique's ethnic mood is sharp and cool with an overall mood of dangerous glamour.
A personal insight on origins, perspectives, inspirations and views in the ever-evolving Philippine fashion and style landscape from an industry insider who's been in the business for 20 years.
