Art in a bag? International brand Furla presents their Spring Summer 2012 Advertising Campaign showcasing the brilliant artistry of Furla grand prize winner of " Premio Furla per I'Arte"--Sissi. The artist from Bologna is know for her works with sculptures, installations and performances with sculptural prostheses constructed by interweaving different materials such as plastics, iron, bamboo and ropes.
In 2002, she won the Furla per l’Arte award. In 2010, she was chosen by the brand to provide a testimonial for the spring-summer 2010 press campaign, adding her own personal contribution to the creative concept. With so many feathers on her cap, added citations and awards includethe Gotham Prize from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Italian Institute of Culture of New York (2012 New York), the Rome Prize at the American Academy (2006-7 Rome), and the New York Prize from the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Italian Academy, Columbia University (2005-2006 New York).
