Essential, modern, elegant. For Autumn Winter 2011-2012, the Furla woman chooses the retro style and feminine rigor of lines inspired by the 1950s, but with an ultra-contemporary twist. The past and present meet in a collection that blends classic and modern, geometry and color, soft materials and clean lines. The new traditional handbags have double handles and are embellished with zips and studs. The color statement is light and bright seen in precious and luxurious materials/textures such as pony skin, Mongolian sheepskin, ostrich leather and deerskin. A variety of off-whites – similar to milk and ice – and pastel nuances, to an explosion of very warm tones such as orange, red and brilliant burgundy. Defining the style are original finishes and unique stylistic solutions such as patchworks, blocks of pure color, contrasting details and handles,echoing the clean design and femininity of the collection.
