The gods must be crazy

PLAYGROUND OF THE GODS

WHOOOP's One Man Show entitled "Playground of the Gods" which opened last February 20, 2013 at Vinyl on Vinyl Gallery is the third solo exhibition of this popular street art ingenue. Themed on beliefs and betrayals, the signature the myriad pastels and prancing familiars create a playful mood echoing serene sensibilities.
Each masterpiece piece is marked by an imprint as seen in interesting playgrounds, the Lords and Inamoratas who inhabit them. Whoops' realm of 2D and 3D artistry is a visual stimulus that ignites both consciousness into a multi-dimensional yet semiotic interpretations of reality. An exposition of the artist's experiences in life, this is his most powerful and personal exhibition to date.

A showcase of contemporary art participated by notable galleries in the country, the must-go event is more than a sight to behold. The exhibition is a look into the thriving artistic scene-scape wherein one is presented with an overwhelming display of brilliance and talent. One can't help but be mesmerized by the fantastical and marvelous expositions of Filipino artistry. Mediums, perspectives, identities and aesthetics in outstanding visualizations impressively captivates and moves the eyes of the countless beholder. A walk into the realm of both reality and fantasy, the art of passage seemed to be brimming with optimism on a more global point of view. Good Morning

Out of town trips are always a treat. Spending a couple of days in Punta Fuego is definitely a good break from life in the city. Nothing comes close to waking up in the morning to the sound of the waters and having the sea close by. On one of those beautiful days we were delightfully surprised with a seaside Filipino breakfast feast at Terrazas de Punta Fuego. Pinoy cuisine such as adobo, daing na bangus, beef tapa and chicken tocino with overflowing Batangas barako coffee and fresh juice was served. Pinoy cuisine can be quite a feast but heartily beyond gastronomic satisfaction. Love the panoramic view of the horizon where the sandy shores meets the sky in picture perfection. The sight of endless hues of blues is breathtaking and unforgettable.
A moment where nature's wonder beckons, scenic tranquility and calmness unfolds in absolute perfection.
